Entrance to the Pier at Lasalle's Landing

This is sad to me:

This kind of sums up Kenner, La: a lot of potential, but no follow through. There were other people there disappointed they couldn't walk out on the pier too. This should be a beautiful walk and view, but the pier is falling down and clearly no money is being spent to keep it up.
