Muss Bertolino Playground 10.10.10

This is apparently how the City of Kenner fixes playground equipment which has been broken for months:



Wouldn't want people to actually go on the football field at the public park. We might get it dirty or something and then where would the private school John Curtis play? Guess it is better than the "No Soccer" signs which used to be hanging at this park:



Skateboarding is not new. It has been around for roughly 30-40 years. You would think by now we would incorporate skateboards and bikes into our design of spaces and the materials used, especially in public parks. I am not asking for you to take parkour running into your thought process or even build an adult obstacle course (novel thought there), but skateboards should be allowed and a consideration:
